A Group of Four Papua New Guinea Ceremonial Yam Masks, East Sepik Province, three painted basketry masks, probably Maprik or Wosera, woven in abstract bird form, one with cassowary feather highlights, heights 15 1/4 in., 11 in., and 8 in., two hung suspended over rectangular wood plinths; the fourth, a painted tortoiseshell child's mask, possibly Tambanum, oval body painted with stylized facial features, raised eyes inset with cowrie shells, height 6 1/8 in.
