A Group of Seven French Faience Plates, early 19th c., made in Oise, France (c. 1820-40), similar to Wedgwood of the same period, incised CREIL. E700/900 Note: This factory was founded by an Englishman named Bagnal in 1794 for the raw materials of the area to produce English wares. It was united with Manleseau early in the 19th century and continued until 1895. The scenes depict childrens' activities in a pastoral setting. 5 diameter 8 in., 2 diameter 8.5in., They are numbered #43 and #46 through #51.
