A Group of Three Chinese Civil and Military Rank Badges, 19th c., including a front military badge with a flaming bear crouched on a rock outcropping amid pine, prunus and lingzhi with a bat flying overhead, picked out in satin stitch, 9 7/8 in. x 10 in.; a front civil badge applied with a golden pheasant in flight against a sky of cloud-scrolls and a red sun overhead, picked out in knot stitch, 10 in. x 11 in.; a back civil badge with a silver pheasant standing on a rock above lishui waves amid auspicious emblems, picked out in satin stitch, 14 1/4 in. x 14 1/4 in. (3 pcs.)
