A Labeled William IV Mahogany Chest, c. 1835, stamped "Holland and Sons", the rectilinear top above a pair of drawers over three drawers on a molded plinth, height 39 in., width 44 in., depth 23 in. E1500- 2500 Note: The spare style of this chest was fashionable and indeed suitable for the numerous 19th c. country houses furnished by the well-known London based firm of Holland and Sons. Among their patrons were the Prince Regent and Queen Victoria.
