A Large American Renaissance Carved and Burl Walnut Breakfront Bookcase, c. 1870, the center section with a foliate-carved pediment centered by an anthemion and shield cartouche, turreted corners with finials, burled and molded columns flanking a mirrored door enclosing shelves, the base with mask-carved long drawer, side sections topped by plinths, bellflower-carved brackets to the back, adjustable shelf interior, conforming blocked base, height 132 in., width 128 in., depth 19 in.
