A Large and Impressive Paris Porcelain Vase, early 19th c., in the manner of Darte, the ovoid form richly gilt, the everted rim above a tapered neck, the shoulders joined by scrolled handles modeled with oval terminals displaying a kneeling cupid, the finely painted reserves bordered in tooled gold and depicting a tavern scene and a corbeille filled with colorful flowers, the waist on a spreading socle resting on a square plinth, height 21.75in., width 11 in., depth 8 in.
