A Large French Sarreguemines Bronze-Mounted Cobalt Majolica Vase, late 19th c., having a high glaze cobalt blue exterior and a turquoise interior, the body formed by a straight neck, deep sloping shoulders and a rounded bottom, with applied bronze lion's head and ring handles and set on an ornate bronze base with applied shield and acanthus mounts, on three paw feet, marked on bottom of vase above base, height 18.5in.
