A Large Group of Chinese and Japanese Prints, including a group of eight "Bird and Flower" and "Flowering Branch" album leaf prints, some after Hu Cheng-yen, Master of the Bamboo Studio, variously inscribed and sealed, each 9 1/2 in. x 11 in.; a group of eight "Bird and Flower" album leaf prints, some sealed, each 9 in. x 6 1/4 in., found within an envelope postmarked Peking 1927 and addressed to "Mr. Ben[jamin] March/ The Detroit Institute of Arts/ In the City of Detroit, Mich./ U.S.A."; a "Flower Fan" print after Ch'ien Hsuan, 8 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in.; a "Calligraphy" print depicting a hand holding a brush over a long calligraphic inscription, 9 1/4 in. x 10 1/2 in.; a Japanese woodblock print, depicting a man rowing a boat with Mt. Fuji in the distance, 6 1/2 in. x 9 3/4 in.; together with an "Allegorical Figure Wielding Spears", ink and color on silk, height 10 in., (20 pcs.)
