A Large Pair of Sevres Porcelain Gilt-Bronze-Mounted Porcelain Covered Garniture Vases in the Louis XVI Taste, 1837, decorated in 1844, the gilt-bronze mounts later, each obverse with galants reserve landscape reserve on the reverse, gilt foliate decoration on a bleu du Roi ground, gilt-bronze laurel wreath foot and plinth base, Sevres 1837 factory mark in grey transfer-printed ellipse; blue transfer- printed Louis-Philippe decorating mark for 1844, Rouge-de-fer transfer printed Chateau de Fontainbleau mark, height 26.5in, width 13 in., depth 9 in.
