A Large Patinated Bronze Figure of Antinous, after the antique, with scroll in his right hand, the hair vigorously worked with rich curls, on a spreading circular base with acanthus-leaf borders, characteristic of casts made, c. 1870-1890 by the Fonderia Artistica Carlo Sommer, or of J. Chuirazzi & Sons, both of Naples, height 25.5 in., base diameter 10.125 in.
