A Large Southern Chinese or Vietnamese Flambé Glazed Martaban Storage Jar, late 18th/early 19th c., the shoulder with eight lug handles below a roll collar neck, the body decorated with a gently raised dragon in pursuit of the flaming pearl beneath stylized cloud formations, the body with a cool turquoise and green flambé glaze gently dripping to an unglazed foot, height 34 in.
