A Louis XVI Carved Walnut Lit d'Alcove, late 18th c., arched molded head and footboard, stop-fluted posts topped by iron collars, tapering vasiform turnings at the base, reeded and paterae-carved blocks ending in tapered fluted legs, with conforming rails, height 72 in., length 71 in., width 51 in. Note: found "as is", each rail split.
