A Louisiana Cherrywood and Cypress Armoire, early 19th century., the interior backboard penciled script "NO" and the month and day illegibly written in French, 1839. The cove molded projecting cornice above a pair of panelled doors opening to a series of shelves and a belt of drawers, on short cabriole legs, height 82 in., width 55.25in. depth 20 in., restorations.
