A Mappin and Webb Sterling Silver Commemorative Time Piece, c. 1981, made on the occasion of the wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer on 29th July 1981 and so inscribed on the top cover, the casein the form of a vase with a rotating dial and urn-shaped finial, applied with gilded silver chains and royal crests, on a waisted stem,fitted in its original velvet-lined box, believed to be the work of Mappin and Webb jeweler Albert Owen, note: has been cleaned, one minorrepair, height 11 in., width 5 in.
