A Meissen Porcelain Outside Decorated Teapot, 19th c., polychrome and gilt decorated with alternating panels of genre scenes and Deutsche Blumen between gilt borders, the handle and spout molded as branches, the flat lid surmounted by a leafy knop, crossed swords mark in underglaze blue with a single incision across indicating that the pot was sold undecorated, impressed numeral 47 over 5, height 4 1/8 in., width 7 1/2 in. Note: restorations.
