A Modern Greek Composition Figure of the Goddess Artemis, c. 1930s- 1950s, this model creatively adapted from the prototype of a "Striding Athena" from the old Athena Temple on the Athens Acropolis, in classical garb, gilt highlights (now oxidized); the striding figure on rectangular plinth; together with a later conforming grey- veined white marble and rouge marble base, height 811-2 in., width 251-2 in., depth 121-2 in.
