A Monumental American Rococo Carved Mahogany Bedstead, mid-19th c., attributed to Prudent Mallard, New Orleans, headboard with C and S scroll crest surmounted by a fruit and foliate cabochon cartouche, paneled headboard, beaded posts, conforming foot board with paneled, beaded posts, bracketed paneled rails, old painted number "68" on all posts, height 88 1/2 in., length 79 in., width 63 in.
