A Monumental American Rococo Sterling Silver Pitcher, Samuel Kirk, Baltimore, c. 1845, engraved in script monogram GEA below spout, marked on bottom S.L KIRK-S.K.-11 OZ., repousse chased elongated inverted pear-form on pedestal base, all over design of figural architectural vignettes, birds, flowers, and fruit, cast models of a dog, and a bird on naturalistic cast handle, hinged cover with a cast fruit and leaf finial, height 16 .75in., width 9 .75in., depth 6.25in. weight 70 troy ozs.
