A Monumental Victorian Silverplate Centerpiece, Elkington, British registry date 1854, in the Gothic taste, reticulated central basket raised on alternating lobed and fluted knopped shaft rising from a circular base with three scrolled supports and applied cast masks, three scrolling branches extend from shaft terminating in candleholders with drip-pans, fully marked on bottom and on one foot, height 22.5in., width 18.5in.
