A Most Interesting Carved Allegorical Tall Case Clock, early 20th Century probably Louisiana, in the "Folk" tradition, a family note atop refers to a "Voodoo" clock, and also displays "New Orleans" in incised script; the "terrestrial" associated movement with a white painted face and raised enameled hours, a vintage globe, the hand- wrought brass and mirrored pendulum signed "LeFevre Horloger 1928", the beautifully carved case retains an old rich color and lightly crazed surface, probably walnut with pine secondary wood, height 93in width 19in. depth 11in.
