A Napoleon III Bronze Dore' Three-Piece Mantel Garniture, c. 1855- 1865, comprising a clock surmounted by a romantic couple in Renaissance attire, the case displaying an enameled chapter dial calibrated in Roman numerals, and decorated with scrolled strapwork, cartouches and fruiting pendant clusters, the feet fronted by a female mask; and a pair of five-light candelabra, each of columnar form with branches issuing urn-form candlenozzles, the triangular pedestal on scrolled feet raised on a concave plinth, height 26 in. width 16 in., depth 8 in.
