A Napoleon III Gilt Bronze-Mounted Canton Famille Rose Porcelain Bowl, 19th c., the interior finely enameled in a vivid famille rose palette with a central figural roundel surrounded by alternating figural and auspicious object panels framed within iron red and gilt geometric patterns, the exterior with figural panels alternating between indoor and outdoor settings, reserved on a polychrome decorated gilt ground with birds, butterflies, floral, and vegetal sprays, height 10 1/4 in., width 13 1/2 in.
