A New Orleans Carnival Cloak Chain, early 20th century), attributed to Newcomb College, possibly made for the captain of Mithras, vermeil set with 13 natural shape cabochon blue sapphires, 52 fresh water pearls and 13 small round faceted rubies, the circular links with the letter "M" twined with scrolling vine, length 33.5in.
