A New Orleans Carnival Krewe of Rex Ball Invitation From February 18,1896, "Heavenly Bodies", two midnight blue orbs decorated with silverstars pinned with a silver metal star centered with blue stone and having a cluster of cumulus rain clouds and a ring of moons in variousstages banding it; the interior of one orb decorated with brilliant scenes of king riding in a carriage drawn by two black unicorns with dragon tails, the other one with scenes of a maiden's coronation, together with the original envelope inscribed "Compliments of Mr. Whitaker".
