A New Orleans Coin Silver Card Case and Chain, mid-19th c., Adolphe Himmel Silverware Manufactory, engine-turned engraved bands on both sides of the rectangular case, the front decorated with the Crystal Palace Pavillion in New York and a vacant scroll cartouche on the reverse, the rims of both sides with incised marks "AH" on one and "NO" on the other, small slip to secure closure, and a circular spring ring on the 12 in. chain, case 3 5/8 in. x 2 1/4 in., weight 2 60 troy ozs.
