Pike Jr./to his friend and physician/Dr. T.J. Buffington./July 1858.", marked "HYDE & GOODRICH" incised in arc, above "H" incised, above "NEW ORLEANS" incised in complementary arc, height 13.125in., weight 30 troy ozs. 13 dwts.
