A Newcomb College Art Pottery High Glaze Vase, 1901, decorated by Ada Lonnegan with a repeating pattern of calla lily blossoms in blue, green and yellow underglaze, base marked with Newcomb cipher, decorator's mark, Joseph Meyer's potter's mark, reg. no. E61, "X" indicating that the piece was reserved for the decorator or college and the early triangular date mark, base drilled for wiring as lamp, height 11 1/2 in.
