A Newcomb College Art Pottery Matte Glaze Pitcher, c. 1910, decorated by Mary Williams Butler in low relief with a pattern of elongated tulips, blue, green and yellow underglaze, base marked with Newcomb cipher, decorator's initials, Joseph Meyer's potter's mark, reg. no. DY67, and "Q" for buff clay body, height 7 1/2 in.
