A Newcomb College Arts and Crafts Cut-Out and Hand-Wrought Silver Egyptian-Influenced Pin, c. 1925, attributed to Miriam Levy, lapis stone width 2 in. A gifted metalworker, Miss Levy began working full-time for Hausmann's jewelry. Note: Miriam Levy was a 1916 graduate of the Newcomb Art School. After enrolling as a graduate art student between 1916-1918, she became an art craftsman from 1918 to 1929
