A Pair of American Art Deco Polychromed Brass and Marbled Glass Wall Lanterns, c. 1920, made for the New Orleans landmark, the Historic Masonic Temple at St. Charles Ave. and Perdido St., which was designed by architect Samuel Stone. The crown finial is repeated in the shaped, everted top which bears in red and black a palmette and zig-zag painted motif above columnar painted supports separating whitemarbled glass panes and featuring Oriental masques, height 32.5in., depth 6 1//4 in.
