A Pair of American Gilt Lacquered Bronze Three-Light Girandoles, mid- 19th c., probably Cornelius and Co., Philadelphia, each standard depicting a boy and a girl with a bird’s nest and picket fence, the scrolling branches issuing pierced oval rings and urn-shaped candle nozzles, one decorated with Albert spear prisms, the other with snowflake and star prisms, each on a rectangular white marble plinth, original condition, height 16 in., width 19 in.
