A Pair of American Neo-Grec Carved Rosewood, Inlaid and Gilt-Incised Slipper Chairs, late 19th c., possibly Herter Bros., in "as found" condition, the upholstered crests above a cruciform splat inlaid with a Luna moth oval medallion, anthemion and leaf carved stiles set with gilt brass rosettes, incised seat rails on carved, incised and studded tapering legs with casters.
