A Pair of Capo di Monte Gilt and Polychrome Porcelain Covered Urns of Monumental Size, 19th c., the bodies and finials with a host of fully three-dimensional infant Bacchants, the seated figures atop reticulated and garlanded lids and collars, the standing figures set against naturalistically painted gold-ground frieze bands, above gilded waists decorated with Bacchic masks, on foliate-molded stems and square bases; each with late period underglaze-blue "crowned N" mark on underside of base (evidently from period after 1821 transfer of Capo di Monte molds to the Ginori factory at Doccia, near Florence), height 26 in., diameter 10 in.
