Description:

A Pair of Continental Neoclassical Marble and Giltwood Looking Glasses, late 18th c., probably Italian, each crest centered by an oval painted cartouche with putti and Classical maiden, foliate scrolls to the sides, the frame composed of pink marble segments and beaded moldings, tapered colonnettes topped by urn finials and ending in leaf pendants, shell and vine base, height 27 3/4 in., width 19 1/2 in.
