A Pair of Continental Polychrome and Giltwood Blackamoor Torchères, 19th c., the glass-eyed standing figures clad in rope-belted drapery loincloths and holding tapered shafts topped with prickets, on bases carved with leaves, flowers and crosshatched panels, height 57 in., length 13 in., width 13 in. Note: Old repairs, surface abrasion and damage to one torchère.
