A Pair of Continental Polychromed Wood Blackamoor Figures, late 18th/early 19th c., each wearing a colorful striped drape, with gilt tattoos on neck, wrist and ankles, each holding aloft a Corinthian capital with later flame finials, on faux marble painted base, the round base (reduced) indicating that the figures were probably installed architecturally, height 40 1/2 in., width 9 in.
