A Pair of Cornelius & Baker 'Candle-Saver' Candlesticks, c. 1855, Philadelphia, each labeled with the firm name as in use between 1851 and 1861, height 38 in., bases 6 in. square, each sliding aperture cover equipped with a coiled-spring candle-socket.
