A Pair of Directoire-Style Black Lacquered and Giltwood Fauteuils, late 19th Century the square back and slightly arched crest with rosette finials, the padded circular arms terminating in rosettes, the flat tapering uprights with bellflower carving, similarly shaped legs ending in blocked feet, now with ebony and gilt paint over the original gessoed surface.
