Description:

A Pair of Fine American Renaissance Carved Rosewood Armchairs, c. 1860, attributed to Alexander Roux, New York, each with cabochon crest with winged scrolls, floral festoons, rectangular backs with ribbon and foliate stiles, padded arms with lion's head terminals, bowed seat with cartouche, carved trumpet legs, casters.
