A Pair of French Caryatid-Form Glass Lamp Bases, late 19th c., each having a classical female figure in frosted glass standing on a large clear round base with ribbed designs, remnants of lamp supports resting on figures' heads, height 15.5in., depth 7.5in. Note: minor chips to bases. Reference: A similar form is illustrated in Ruth Webb Lee, Sandwich Glass Handbook, pl. 221.
