A Pair of Louis XV Carved Walnut Armchairs, mid-18th c., stamped "Nogaret à Lyon", scalloped floral-carved crest rail, serpentine arms, caned seat, floral cabriole legs with scrolled toes, height 37 1/2 in. Note: A prolific and celebrated Rococo era menuisier, Pierre Nogaret apprenticed in Paris before establishing an atelier in Lyon in 1743 as maitre.
