A Pair of Rare Philadelphia Classical Carved Mahogany Side Chairs, c 1825, attributed to Anthony Quervelle, each with a concave rectangular crest inlaid with ebony stringing bordering a flame mahogany panel, the splat carved with a basket of fruit contained by acanthine scrolls, the trapezoidal seat retaining original drop-in seat frame, the saber legs with projecting knees mounted by concentric bosses, height 33 in., width 18.5 in., depth 18 in.
