A Pair of Vieux Paris Porcelain Vases, c. 1845, in the manner of Jacob Petit, each with rich magenta and Paris green ground and bright gilding on highly articulated molded porcelain body, the reserve finely painted with romantic and family genre scenes, the reverse with floral bouquets, having reticulated rim and base and ornate foliate scroll handles, height 18.5in., width 7.5in., diameter 6.5in.
