A Paris Porcelain Cabinet Plate, "Femme Mulatre St. Domingue", Dominique Denuelle, c. 1820, the bottom fully marked in red overglaze and titled, the central polychromed reserve depicting an elegant woman in tignon within a landscape setting, the wide border richly gilt in contrast burnished foliate pattern, diameter 10.5in. E3500- 4500 Note: Dominique Denuelle's pottery was located at rue de Crussol in Paris from approximately 1819-34. He was awarded a silver medal in 1819 for shape, execution and "a matt gilding which has arrested the attention of connoisseurs."
