A Paris Porcelain Mantel Clock, mid-19th c., in the manner of Jacob Petit, the cartouche form clock richly gilded, the green ground painted with floral reserves, the circular silvered dial within a bronze dore frame surmounted by a figure of a seated sultan, the rosewood marquetry inlaid rectangular plinth containing a music box, on bun feet, elements probably associated, note: inscription on box, "Souvenir de Napoleon", height 18 in., width 9.5in., depth 4.75in.
