A Rare and Fine New Orleans Mayoral Commemorative Trowel, Spade, and Pick, the hardwood and silver trowel having been presented to the Hon Paul Capdevielle in 1901 when he laid the cornerstone of the monument to Henry Clay in Lafayette Square; the spade and pick of silver with mahogany handles presented to the mayor in 1903 by the Sewerage and Water Board on the occasion of the inauguration of sewerage construction, length pick 36 in., spade 40 in., trowel 10 in.
