A Rare and Unusual Newcomb College Art Pottery High Glaze Vase, c. 1901, decorated by Amelie Roman, of cylindrical form, finely painted with four arch panels of green and white narcissus flowers on green ground, framed in a rare black glaze, base marked with Newcomb cipher, Roman's decorator's mark, Joseph Meyer's potter's mark, shield date mark, and "U" for buff clay body, height 9.625in., diameter 3.875in.
