A Rare Fantasy Carved and Painted Armchair, early to mid-20th c., the crest in the form of a human skull over stylized arms and legs carved in the form of a seated skeleton with a square padded seat over a square mahogany legs joined by stretchers, height 54.5 in., width 28 in., depth 23.5 in. E2500-5000 Provenance: Ex-collection of Vincent Price. Note: An identical chair was sold in these rooms as lot #239 on July 31, 2004.
