A Rare Pair of Federal Mahogany Footstools, c. 1810-1825, Philadelphia, the tops found with period ticking, raised on turned tapered, splayed legs. Provenance: Purchased from Ivy Lodge/Cottage in Exton, PA. Descended in the Thomas Family from Colonel Thomas (The Fighting Quaker), who moved there around 1800.
