A Rare Pair of Regency Gilt and Patinated Bronze Candleholders, early 19th c., after a design by Thomas Hope, each modeled as an antique oil lamp with flame finials, the foliate standard supported by monopodial sphinx, the triangular plinth on masked feet, height 10 1/2 in.
